WELLBEING
Company
One of the most nationally and internationally recognized academic institutions. It operates in an environment characterized by a high concentration of expertise, relationships, and services, where the quality of the experience for students, faculty, and staff also depends on internal organizational balance.
The population consists of permanent staff (administration and support functions) and faculty members, both tenured and non-tenured. In such a complex environment, with different roles, workloads, and dynamics, assessing well-being requires tools capable of representing different segments without oversimplifying the complexity.
Problem
When regulations are the starting point, not the end goal
The company in question was required by law to conduct a risk assessment for work-related stress (SLC) in accordance with Article 28 of Legislative Decree 81/08, resulting in the production of the Risk Assessment Document (DVR). At the same time, the need arose to complement compliance with an individual organizational well-being survey, to broaden the analysis to include additional dimensions and clusters.
The main challenges were:
Managing the WSR process correctly and in accordance with the regulations, up to and including the required reporting
Distinguishing between the needs and perceptions of different groups (administration vs. faculty)
Complementing compliance with a broader, action-oriented listening process, not “an end in itself”
Building a database that enables correlations and prioritization, to launch a structured and ongoing process
Solution
An integrated project: WSR+ segmented Wellbeing Assessment
Trainect is managing the entire project related to the SLC survey, following the prescribed procedure and supporting the organization throughout all phases. Concurrently, two customized Trainect Wellbeing Assessments were designed and administered for key segments: administrative staff and faculty.
The data will be analyzed to produce the required reports and provide an integrated overview, linking the insights emerging from the various surveys and making the results more useful for guiding actions and priorities.
Results
The project is currently underway. The goal is to obtain both the required regulatory documentation and a structured feedback framework, ready to guide future actions.
Specifically, the work will result in:
-
Comprehensive reporting for WSR compliance and the production of the RAD
-
A broader and more segmented view of well-being (administration vs. faculty)
-
Correlations between survey insights to identify priorities and critical areas
-
A feedback model that can be replicated over time, with a foundation for in-depth vertical analysis
Making listening a continuous process
The collaboration continues with the integrated analysis of the results and the definition of intervention priorities. At the same time, new vertical surveys are being evaluated for regulatory purposes, to establish a model of continuous listening over time.
